Here is a poem about cheese I found online:
The holidays are almost here
be sure to have assorted cheeses near
Anyway you slice it
you would have dealt it
Let the cheese wheel churn
as you feel it's fat burn
Assorted flavors
for many to savor
Limburger cheese
Oh please, You must be a sly blight to stomach it's smell in your sight
Cheddar in a can
is just grand
Sharp or mild
will make you go wild
Brie and Pepper Jack
can give you a heart attack
Mozzarella is my kind of fella'
on lasagna with others, it fills and sticks right to ya'
Thick American slices
the welfare of many choices
Don't forget the majestic blue
in it's prime always a moldy crime
Cottage cheese you have to stay
I need you everyday
The high morals of Provolone
to share it you are never alone
Laughing cow small creamy Swiss
I never can resist
Upon a crisp wheat cracker
what really matters is spread with moist Gouda
Grated Parmesan on a Yukon gold
will find your spirit warmly consoled
Fontina you must meet her
her presence is rather demeanor
Once you get hold of Soft Gruyere
everything else will just disappear
With or without wine
goes better with the essence of moonshine
Slice a thick of pepperoni or two
and cheese creations are on your tasty menu
adding grapes and colorful fruits and nuts
a loaf of chunky French crusty bread
Man, the taste temptations will go to your head
The Romans knew the best feast
while sitting at their tables in clean washed feet
with assorted cheeses
it was the "Food of the God's"
their safe resources
they would express with applause
Delectable fine smooth chocolates after a treat
of gourmet cheese and many would be down on their knees.
